Of those three names I prefer Zanetti because he has settled already in Turin&he knows the team and he's not too bad for reaching a Cl position imo,I like him a lot. Do you remember him at the beginning of the season? I liked his performances,ok in the last time he was not that good but that's normal. If we buy any DM for sure I would go for Mavuba. He's young and not as experienced as Gilberto Silva or Frings but I think he's enough experienced for now. He can collect experience in Juve:D
Experienced players like Gilberto Silva and Frings wouldn't take a lot of time to adapt with a new team. The summer training plus three or more weeks would be enough for them to have the minimum harmony required with their team-mates to perform well.

Regarding Zanetti, when he joined us, I expected that he wouldn't add a lot to the squad, but he proved me wrong. Zanetti + either of Gilberto Silva or Frings + Nocerino as our defensive midfielders will be great and realistic options as well.

As for Mavuba, I heard a lot of good things about him. But, I haven't watched him a lot to give a fair opinion.

Have anybody here seen Nocerino do judge him this high???

I have seen him in one u-21 match and he dident impress me :disagree:
I've watched him a lot with the Azzurrini and Piacenza and I think that he is the future of Italy in his position.

I think that at least one of the DMs we are going to buy should have experianse in Seria A. So I prefer Almiron or Muntari with one between Frings/Mavuba/Gilberto.

Why are u only posting it now? i hope he goes to newcastle or anywhere but here
I hope Italy doesn´t qualify for EURO 2008. :)

Nocerino would be perfect if he comes back we really dont need gilberto. He has the talent to be in 1st team next season.
Nocerino is crap. :p We need experienced champions and the board knows that. There is plenty of time for players like Nocerino.

Myself, following Arsenal I can shine some light on Silvas talent. This guy is great, he works well off the ball and even better WITH the ball. He brings intensity to the pitch and if your lucky even hit the back of the net a few times. It would be a great move.

He has had a great season. Some even rate him as the best DMF. I kinda like him, always thought he was better than Emerson.
But I rather see some young blood in the middle.

Some experience need in the midfield line up.. You cant keep asking for young player in the line up, somebody have to guide them. And i think Silva or Frings could provide that. Eventho i kinda prefer Frings over Silva now.

Arsenal's Gilberto tempted by Juventus offer
tribalfooball.com - May 08, 2007

Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva is mulling over an offer from Juventus.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal's stand-in captain is understood to be considering leaving Emirates Stadium and Juventus officials have been in contact with his advisers.

Gilberto, 30, has two years left on his Arsenal contract and is aware that he will be offered only a one-year deal when it ends. Juventus are willing to match Gilberto's £40,000-a-week wages and offer him a four-year contract.
