Roma’s Gilardino link rejected
Alberto Gilardino’s agent has dismissed reports that Roma have made a move for the striker.
The Giallorossi have been linked with the Parma ace after he received praise from boss Fabio Capello.
However, Gilardino’s representative is unaware of any interest from the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
"Gilardino is a player who is liked by a host of Italian and European clubs," Francesco Romano told Radio Radio.
"But I don’t know anything about Roma making any sort of contact for the player at this moment in time. If they had I would know about it."
The Under-21 international, who just missed out on a place at Euro 2004, has caught the eye of many sides after his 23 League goals this term.
"Alberto is just 22-years-old and he’s had a really important past year in this game," added Romano.
"How much will he cost? I think somewhere in the region of between £10m and £15m will be enough."
The former Piacenza ace has been heavily associated with Juventus even if Real Madrid are allegedly interested.
