he is a good player.I saw him playing against Roma tonight and he was really nice.he is a defensive midfielder and much better tahn Tacchi,Blasi and Appiah.also we can sign him as a free player.

I tend to disagree with the general thought of Giannichedda here.
Yes he's 30, but he's a good player. Not neceassarily a player we need, but certainly better than Blasi ,Appiah and Tacchinardi. He can even fill in as cb adequately, like he showed in the roman derby.

dude, he's 30....and Blasi and Appiah are both still below 25...give them couple more years and you'll see the best defensive mid in the world....they have proven themselve by settle well with Emerson
He's taller, and he starts for his national team only because it's croatia, not Italy. Iuliano would start for them too. So, we're down to his height. Believe it or not, there's more to being a topflight defender than being tall...

Juventus make offer to Lazio's
tribalfootball.com - January 5, 2005
Juventus have made a pre-contract offer to Lazio winger Giuliano Giannichedda.
The left-sided midfielder has been tabled a three-year contract, worth £1.2 million-a-season by Juve chiefs. The offer far outweighs anything Lazio president Claudio Lotito can put in front of Giannichedda.
Juve have made their move after accepting defeat to AC Milan in their pursuit of Udinese left winger Marek Jankulovski.
