Juventus make offer to Lazio's
tribalfootball.com - January 5, 2005

Juventus have made a pre-contract offer to Lazio winger Giuliano Giannichedda.

The left-sided midfielder has been tabled a three-year contract, worth £1.2 million-a-season by Juve chiefs. The offer far outweighs anything Lazio president Claudio Lotito can put in front of Giannichedda.

Juve have made their move after accepting defeat to AC Milan in their pursuit of Udinese left winger Marek Jankulovski.

La Juve "prenota" Giannichedda
sports.it 04 01 2005

Yes that true, but atleast Moggi lied but a late christmas present. :) Or, when is he supposed to come to Juve if the deal comes true?

Now skip Giannichedda and buy someone else!!

Not sure this is reliable particularly, tribal football and sports.it, but if he's free and provides backup its fine by me, so long as it doesn't detract from any other possible signings, like the already mentioned jankulovski or , I'm dreaming here but a CREATIVE MIDFIELDER!!

Too old IMO. And we better get Jankulovski as LM.

edit: btw mark, who's maicon?
Maicon plays for Monaco. He's a RB that can play RM if needed. His style is like Miguel, Trabelsi...

Giannichedda? He is as useless as Tacchinardi. This has got to be some sort of smokescreen, Moggi is not that stupid. And anyway, I thought this guy plays central midfield. He's no winger...

I tend to disagree with the general thought of Giannichedda here.
Yes he's 30, but he's a good player. Not neceassarily a player we need, but certainly better than Blasi ,Appiah and Tacchinardi. He can even fill in as cb adequately, like he showed in the roman derby.

I like him.
