I havent seen Kovac play, but Im going to have to say Tudor is probably better off with us. He's played with us before and when not injured he provides a good option on the d line. I personally didnt see the need for a Kovac signing with Tudor already in the ranks. I feel they maybe similar in some aspects, but at 31 i dont think Kovac can be much better than someone around the same age as him.

As for Giannichedda, i think again, at 31 i dont think he's got more than a couple of seasons on decent football in him. That said, i think he's just the kind of player you'd like in your squad, if you're looking to reinforce some bench strength. His versatility, is an added bonus. And these are the kind of players that help you go far in the Champions League, because of their valuable contributions coming off the bench.

And as for Christiano Zanetti, i dont know what Capello sees in him that we dont? Seriously, he was probably the weakest link in the Azzuri lineup, and I dont see him being any different in a Juve lineup. I think we'd be better off with the likes of Appiah. But like ive said a thousand times before, a player like Emre would be an almost ideal addition to the squad.
Another Pannucci case I guess...

C. Zanatti and Tachi are no where near the creativness of the turkish star EMRE ... we need a player like that to fill in that gap between emerson and nedved... i watched him in tonights game against greece he was amazing.... INter just doesnt give him the playing time other wise he would be off the hook

probably be sold for money, i think we made correct free transfers to strengthen our bench, Kovac re isnt the best but good enough for our bench for a1-2 seasons. gianichedda is versatile and will rotate well with our team.

Having them both gives us more option of selling our midfielders like Tacchi Blasi or Appiah (whom I hope stays), even perhaps defenders like Tudor.

Tacchi, Appiah and Blasi... well if i was Moggi, i would sell tacchi and blasi!
and keep Appiah as a GREAT sub!!!
and then i would buy Pizzaro or Mozart as the man to play alongside Emerson :D

I'm optimistic that we're on the right track this summer,we've acquired two useful players who will provide us with some experience and in Giannichedda's case versatility. Squad wise we have improved our overall depth and bench strength, now Moggi has to move on and make that one big signing for the midfield.

Moggi : "Con Kovac abbiamo la migliore difesa"
    05 06 2005

Moggi: With Kovac we have the best defense in Serie A.

He said we have to sell a non-EU player to make space for him. I always thought he had a German passport.

I wouldn't mind ditching Olivera TBH. I know, I know :blah: Potential this, potential that... but the lad just doesn't look talented enough to be a starter for us, and most of the time when he's on the pitch his main contribution is nasty tackles and silly bookings.

I dont know how many of you actually know this, but Freddy Ljungberg will be a free agent next season if he doesnt renew his contract with Arsenal. Maybe Moggi could pull off something with Arsenal and buy him real cheap this season. He would be a great squad player imo.

PS: Im not too aware of his age, but im guessing hes between 28-30.

We werw linked with him a few months ago,but he remains the main target for real madrid.
I would like to see LJungbeg with us because he is fantastic player imo.

I,m not so sure that kovac will bring us such defence's status. He is not that gauge of player,as Canna is for example.
