I keep telling you, whatever they pay, the same amount is much cheaper for us. With Ronaldo we showed willingness to splash big for top of the world talent, and he was 33. I see no reason it won't be the case with Haaland
Our transfer policy seems to have changed, so it might be a reason that we don’t go for Haaland.

Might be possible that the club decides to not give player +12m per year until our finances are more sustainable.

Im really wondering what Raiola will ask next year.

Maybe if the Super league project works out, then maybe I can see it.

Definitely not now, not in the current financial climate. We're trying to cut costs as much as possible. If things stay as it is in a year's time, almost impossible to see us pull off a big transfer imo.

It will be really foolish with the new tax laws not to try to sign either Mbappe or Haaland

You keep ignoring the fact pre-Ronaldo and after-Ronaldo are completely different situations. If we had those financial means, we'd have Pogba's signature sealed for months now. Yet we keep haggling to sell Szczesny before signing Donnaruma because even that 6,5 mil is too much for us.

And there's been talk about removing the tax-law for months now. So it's a guess either way.

I think we missed the boat on Haaland. We are going to suddenly come back into the spending power like we had getting Ronaldo after this COVID fiasco. That will take years to get back to that. He would have to literally ONLY WANT Juve and no one else. That seems unlikely. What also seems unlikely when that 80m clause kicks in, we wouldn't be the only interest shark swimming in those waters...

There is also Mbappe situation if he does not agree to accept the contract renewal from Psg so basically both Mbappe and haaland might be available in 2022 and certainly with the new tax laws we need to sign one of them

Would be nice to sign one but seems like we are shifting away from the high profile signing for a while.

maybe we are cutting costs for that specific reason, ever thought about that?

Maybe Pogba doesn't want to leave? Or maybe we don't want to use a super salary on him, when there is Mbappe, Haaland and the likes? It's not all as simple as you think. There is a difference between one in a generation opportunity and just wasting money

mbappe will be a real player after the euros, haaland is probably epl bound. there's always hope of course, but i don't think we have a realistic chance of landing either of these two.

Important contacts between Psg and Raiola for Donnarumma. Juve still in race but have not received any offers for Szczesny. (Sportitalia)

PSG want to conclude the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma as soon as possible. Today talks between Leonardo and Raiola intensified. [Foot Mercato]

In 2-3 years we will need a new goalkeeper and we will be crying for somebody like Donnarumma. Tek is not top tier goalkeeper anyway. Seems strangely short sighted by us not taking on this opportunity.
I don't know whether stories are being planted first Barcelona then PSG or Allegri wants to keep Szczesny as the goalkeeper

I think he wants to play for a CL contender club and would prefer not to play for Juve since he's a Milanista. PSG is the most likely club. Juve stands a chance if others clubs turn him down first, not a question of how much Juve's offering or willing to offer imo.

Have to say I'm pretty pleased with the latest developments.

As I've said before I don't mind him but I won't lose any sleep over losing out on him.

I really wouldn't say this is 'short-sighted' by Juve if you are not too caught up about history and tradition.

What would be short sighted however is if we go without seriously upgrading our midfield for the 5th season in a row.

Agresti said that we received 0 offers for Szczesny, and we will not sign Donnarumma without selling Tek.

You'd say he'd be easy to sell, given we dont need a lot to avoid a loss. I guess that his salary makes it too difficult.

Still think that we will sign Dollar. Things can change fast.

Honestly speaking, a goalkeeper rejecting €8M net at 23 years old which would have put him on par with the highest paid goalies in the world doesn't speak highly of him.
Him and his agent suit PSG perfectly.

Hm, i thought he has value, thats what people said? After getting 6M, it was obvious he will stay.
