This is exactly what we have been doing wrong for years now... Our midfield has been fucked up for God knows how long, yet we've spent a of shitload money on Higuain, De Ligt, Cristiano, Chiesa, Kulusevski, etc. etc. In itself good moves but preventing us from doing what needs to be done the most.

Stop it, FFS.

Have mixed feelings about this.

Tek had a poor season by his standards but, otherwise, he has always been great for us.

I am not convinced by Dollarumma. He makes some absolutely incredible saves but he also fucks up on crosses and handling. Sure he's very young but there is no guarantee he works these fuck ups out of his game.

Giving him 12mil a season makes me cringe and likely 10-20 mil package for Raiola makes me cringe.

I could see this transfer being deal of the century. I could also see it being a disaster.

Dybala gone for sure if we give this guy 12mil and Dybala only gets offered 10.

I guess Dybala should have gone with Raiola as an agent instead of his moron brother

Give a 6m net salary to a guy who isn't over 20, what could go wrong when comes to desire to improve oneself, to have drive to be best he could be. And then when he is not even 22 lets give him some more, even there was blunder after blunder, bad handling, missing crosses, bad ball control... Many think he is gonna improve, potential over the roof, something like Szczesny after Arsenal. Not gonna happen, what you see now, thats what you gonna see till rest of his career.

Szczesny is the better keeper, atleast for me.
I don’t see anything special about donna, never understood all that hype.

He has a lot of flaws and does a lot of blunders

At what offer to you sell tek and pay this guy 6 mil net and 10 to the agent?
If we need to raise money this seems like an easy way and if it meens getting Lucatelli I say do it. I reallu dont have strong feelings either way though.

Stop giving dollaruma money/if that's what they intend .
Just give paratici and nedved the boot and let someone else give dollaruma the money .
Hopefully someone competent this time.

I agree with a lot of the points here, but I can see how we'll be extremely interested in this move, because it potentially solves the goalkeeper position for 15 years. How many deals can you do this with for a big salary and €20m agent fee?

Sure, it's possibly going to take away from another position for the next mercato, and that may harm us in the shorter term, but there is also a calculation to be made over a number of years, and a HGN spot, which has become quite valuable to us as we have so many foreign players. It's not like signing Dollarumma would take away from us signing Pogba for €80m or any of these fantasy signings that people have, and I don't think it would affect signing someone like Locatelli, but it potentially takes up a big chunk of the salary budget, which has stretched us to the limit since signing Ronaldo. If we take Ramsey, Rabiot and Dybala off that it reduces pressure, but we still have to replace them.

I don't think Tek has done anything wrong, and I'd be sad if were to sell him as he seems like a cool dude, but I can see us being very interested.

I think the short term it makes sense. Let's say he comes on a 10-12m salary. After 4 years Raiola is knocking at our door looking for a doubled salary. Few years after that, a bigger one, and so on. We have to be prepared to be able to meet those requests down the line.

I'd sell Tek this summer for an obvious plusvalenza. Use a bit of that to keep Raiola happy and signing Donna, but the rest goes to imrpoving the squad. Keeping with my philosophy of shopping only in Italy, we can shop for the Locatelli's, Gosens, etc and still improve the squad.

But it seems (according to the finance thread) we are in a whole with salaries again.
