Well, for one, you are underrating him as I can see. He is as close to WC as a 22 y/o GK can be. I repeat once more, he is 22 y/o. People keep forgetting this. He is like De Ligt of GK's to me.
Man... come on.

Let's say we sell Ronaldo this summer. If that happens Donnarumma becomes highest paid player, not just in Juve, but in whole Serie A. That's a fucking joke.

It's so fucking stupid. He's overrated, not just that, but he will be overpaid too.

And we are the only club so desperate to sign him

He wont be the most paid player, not in Juve, not in Serie A. Lukaku earns more, MdL earns more too and if we sell CR, be sure we will get someone else who will earn around 10m, maybe two players since CR is on 30m. Dybala will also renew and earn more if CR leaves I think.

I don't know if I looked at the right numbers but I saw De Ligt at 8mln and Lukaku at 7.5mln euros. From what I saw it's only Ronaldo who earns more, which is no surprise.

You are right, maybe I was looking at the contracts with bonuses.

Either way, I am more bothered that Ramsey and Rabiot combined earn more than 15m than Donnarumma earning 9-10m. Plus, how are we so sure how much he will earn here so early? It may be 8/9m+ bonuses. We could also not sign him if we fail to offload Woj, someting that we will struggle with.

De Ligt is earning 12 million euros per year just like Ramsey and Rabiot are earning 10 million euros I am sure it will be the same for Donarrumma fixed wages of 9.5 million euros plus bonuses

De Ligt of GK's is a bit too much but yeah, he's going to be a WC keeper for sure, just not at the moment.

I don't like the way we're going about it though especially if the intention is to make a capital gain on Szczesny. It opens up an opportunity for some team to acquire him for dirt cheap which is exactly what's going to happen here.

It is a bit too much I agree, but that was the closest example I could think of. He will be a WC GK for sure.

We would struggle to sell Woj either way I think, he will go for cheap for sure.

Also I don't think people are completely opposed to the Donnarumma signing per se but this sort of exemplifies Tici's work over the past 3 years. Going for flashy, fancy signings over building a squad based on the needs of the coach.
People fear it's going to be another season of emptiness where our midfield gets run over by mediocre teams and we continue to struggle to gain any foothold in games.
Tici's poor track record of fixing our 'needs' is worrying and I hope it's not another season of the same.

:agree:
At this point, I’d be happy to have our 2017-18 midfield of Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi, Sturaro, Bentancur, and that speaks volumes about what Tici has done here, while giving absurd wages to guys like Ramsey and Rabiot and spending at least €72 mil on Arthur :sergio:
