Sandro had to be rested last game and Morata couldn't play in Serie A, so they kind of had to be starters here. Rabiot and Bentancur were rested in this fixture and didn't suit this particular system as well. So we actually did rotate over half the players in the starting XI from the last game even if it felt like quite a strong lineup.

It's good to play Buffon occasionally in higher profile fixtures to keep him sharp and to give Tek motivation to keep his level up. I don't understand why the starting keeper always has to play every single big game anyways if you have a perfectly capable second keeper. I prefer it this way.

tek is shouting a lot, some years ago you could hear him screaming "joaoooooo" at cancelo even with the crowd in the stadium he's also better with his foot, he's a more modern keeper than gigi.

No offense to Woj, but Gigi has a presence and leadership qualities that stands out. Didnt meant to say that Tek is a silent mouse, but obviously he's no Buffon when it comes to leadership and presence, yesterday the difference was clear when compared to other matches this season. But, as said before, overall Buffon isnt in his prime anymore and Woj should still start, he's done a very good job and its not his fault Chiellini has been out for so long.

I am saying as second goalkeeper it is possible to extend that his reflexes will not decline as quickly if he was playing majority of the matches
