Buffon has been declining for the past 4-5 years, ever since his back problems became an issue and we do need to think about replacements. Next summer we should have some young goalkeeper in our roster, at least as his backup. Leali if he has enough potential. I like Buffon and he's my favorite player in this Juve, but his goalkeeping can only be worse with each passing year. Lately he can only deflect shots which he once gathered with relative easiness.
Do people understand how redundant it is having a young keeper as backup? Also you want to stop mistakes but you want us to play youth? Leali can hopefully step in when Buffon is done. Right now our whole defence is leaking stupid as fuck goals, it is more a mentality thing IMO. We need to get that sorted.

The problem with some of you guys here is you get way too attached to Juve greats and never accept when the right time to start the ball rolling in finding a replacement. I don't want any more mistakes in crucial games for us. Forget the performance for the national team as he's still got his ability but the cracks in him are surfacing more and more each season with us.

I haven't felt safe with him for a while now. And he certainly hasn't been the "Best Goalkeeper in the World" for a number of years now. Be fucking real.

1. Buffon is better than Storari and Leali - at least for the next 2 years. All those 'mistakes' included, justified or not...
2. Buffon would never accept the bench and we can't afford it too... Just look at his current contract.
3. It was explained in depth why Storari is a better replacement to Buffon, than young GK - say Leali.
Therefore the only logical conclusion is to try to SELL Buffon and BUY a BETTER keeper. Now have in mind Barcelona are looking for a keeper too...
And I just don't see whom and how we gonna get. And let's not kid around with names like Marchetti, because we are talking about replacing Buffon here! Short of Iker I don't see any options and I wouldn't call him an upgrade. Maybe we can 'be fucking real' and get Neuer?
