The thing with that goal... is that Buffon rached the ball first. He had no excuse to not kick it.
Didn't want to risk a red card, that seemed pretty obvious.

Besides, Buffon has always been a pretty slow mover. His anticipation on through balls has had to be so good over his career to compensate.

What red card, he got there first and all he has to do was kick the ball out or push it out with his knee or something ffs.

100 % Bonnucci stupid mistake, Gigi had to run out as he couldn't know if he will arrive to the ball before Didier.

Blaming for this goal is retarded and calling for him to be benching is even more retarded.

Can't be surprised as the same people who wanted Ale out are now companing against this legend.

Campaigning? Lol, most of the people here think of Juve first, that's why they want to bench him, cos they think he is making too much mistakes now and costing too much points instead of saving them for the team. I myself don't know if benching him is a good idea for him and for the team(for this season, I think for the next season we should look for somebody else if he will end on the same form like he is now), but with so many mistakes big amateurish mistakes there might be no other option but to bench him.

If that is all you can comprehend it seems so then.

It's a coincidence that both Ale and Gigi are at the end of their football careers when they start underperforiming compared to they good/best years isn't it? I mean who would have thought that even the greatest goalkeeper and one of the best players in history would play worse when they get old? It's just baffling no?

really? fucking hell guys. I knew some of the forum had no idea about football, but seeing so much blame being placed on Buffon for the first goal is fucking incredible.

First of all, a goalkeeper should NEVER be on his line when the ball is around half pitch.

second thing, the ball back from Bonucci was horrible (which no one can deny), and the way he hit it, gave it a bit of a spin, which seemed to favour Drogba

3) If anyone thinks Buffon got to the ball first and tried to take it past Drogba instead of clearing it, just go jump off a roof somewhere.

4) for the second goal, I don't really think Buffon could have done much more, he came off his line to make the angle smaller since that fucktard Isla decided to stand next to the half way line rather than stay in his RB position.

So much blame?

Is it really that hard to admit that the first goal is caused by both him & Bonucci, 50/50. They both should have done a lot better. If you come off your line as a gk, you better make sure you get the ball, if not you stay put. Must be the first thing keepers are taught when they're kids.

Not that I'd bench him just yet. We all know what he's capable of. Besides, that might actually harm the team.

He did get to the ball first, but he missed it completely. If that's not a mistake I don't know what is.
