dude how many chances can someone have? it's also disrespectful for Storati, to see someone play so badly get the chance over you because of his name
This! Storari must be given a chance. It is totally unfair on him if he is not picked just because we have the legendary Buffon ahead of him and right now should not be ahead of him given the circumstances.

Can you do that though? And apart from just benching him, do you think it would do him any good?

Serious question, not trying to be an ass. I just don't see how this could be handled good if he keeps performing like this.
who cares if it will do him any good? it's obvious his time is coming. we need to start looking for new keepers.

you are looking at it from a player perspective, the team perspective should take precedence, before we go on about figuring out what would do him good i think we agree that he cost us enough points to stop giving chances. we need to shore up the team first then figure out how to handle his situation.
But man, it's Buffon... I really have no idea. He cost us too much points I agree, but still, it's BUFFON, like probably the best keeper of all time to this date.

If it wasn't Buffon, the answer is kind of obvious - bench and most likely sell. But somewhere I just think he will turn the corner, he can't really make those kind of mistakes every game, and benching him I think would end his chances to get better.

i agree with you in that he prolly is the best keeper ever, but to think that he will get back to anything like his old consistent self is delusional. The upside is just not worth it at this point imo

The thing with that goal... is that Buffon rached the ball first. He had no excuse to not kick it.

Bonucci always has been a liability when he is pressed ... he gets nervous and fucks up everything. Also lacks concentration.

Now buffon is joining his club.

If Buffon stays on his line there is very little danger. All the danger came when he came for the ball and missed it thats how the goal was scored. 80% Buffons fault 20% Leo imo.
80% Buffons fault, i hate this forum :lol:

If it's not for the retarded Bonucci's pass there wouldn't be ANY situation, Drogba was way ahead of Barzagli, he would just have 1on1 situation with Buffon, Gigi spotted what's going on and tried to save the day, don't know how he could miss the ball though..

Definetly not his best old days, i'm not that crazy even if I'm naive and hopeful, but to the days where he doesn't make these mistakes, and that would make him a solid keeper, for a year or two.

The way I saw it, Bonucci was at least equally at fault for that first goal & the second one was the fault of... everyone. But yeah, he's had quite a few shockers lately.

Yeah, he really did save the day... Like so many times this season. I'm in denial, but his day saving days seems to be quite over by now.

I can imagine if he didn't run out like he did (and should have), people would be winging about how he wasent concentrating and old.

its lose-lose for him on this forum he did what he had to do, it was a shitty backpass and all the blame should be put on Bonucci.
