Gianluigi Buffon is in doubt to face Genoa on Saturday after the Juventus goalkeeper hurt his shoulder in training.

The official club website released a note confirming Buffon “had sustained a bruise to the acromioclavicular area of his left shoulder.

“The goalkeeper underwent medical tests which failed to show muscle tears. His condition will be assessed over the next few hours.”

It suggests the Italy Number 1 is in doubt to face Genoa on Saturday evening.
