if this come to pass we shud use the money to try to temp casillas..he's prob as disgusted wit RM as gigi is wit us

but i pray it won't come to that
Do you think Casillas will leave a trouble place for another??. I think we should fix our problems before we even think of bringing in new world class players. because players with that caliber well think twice before joining Juventus in the situation it's in.

did you see Casillas even worse than what gigi had in this past few months ?
problem will still remain for a mile years ahead with no major revolution on our backline .

and i dare to say , we might have a lesser conceding record even with these days backline material BUT with better defending approach and tactic from the coach .

FvCK the i wont resign man

He did good but he is no in Buffon levels definitely... it would be a step backwards.....

but yes he did very decent.

i am reconsidering my previous very harsh post about buffon and im thinking it was pretty harsh, the problem is not him it is ... well ask ranireri apparently according to some article i read somewhere he knows the problem of juve.
maybe buffon is playing like this because he cant help and handle juve being run by such an idiot...
forza the former buffon that wasnt under such management.

After a day that was excruciatingly disappointing for Gigi, Juventus, and fans of the Bianconeri all around the world, I thought some of you might enjoy this small reminder of what an outstanding individual we have here.

We're extremely blessed to have a keeper of the utmost class, a winner through and through; Gigi represents all that is good about this team. I'm of the opinion that under no circumstances should Buffon be sold - he is the perfect foundation for our beloved club's reconstruction. As long as this man plays at a high level, I'm more than happy to have him on our team.

With his great positional awareness, Gigi could play at an extremely high level for many years to come; if his back holds up, we could be blessed with Buffon's presence for another 6-7 years. I certainly hope to see the day when this man becomes the captain of our beloved club.

Hope you enjoy this clip - if you've seen it before, you probably won't mind watching it again. FORZA GIANLUIGI BUFFON!!

"Sometimes you just have to know when to quit. Ricky Hatton could box on forever, but he's never going to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world; Veronica Lario could stand by her husband Silvio Berlusconi forever, but he's never going to stop being well, rather slimy. And the Mill could scour this morning's papers for another hour in search of an original rumour, but it just ain't going to happen."

"So let's just get on with re-hashing what was already out there, shall we? And what better place to start than Manchester City's enduring fixation with Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon. Apparently, after careful consideration, Juventus have decided that £50m isn't such a bad price to accept for a 31-year-old who probably isn't the best at his position in Serie A these days. In fact, they might even be willing to accept a knock-down price of £30m, provided they can tie up a deal of their own for Udinese's Samir Handanovic."

There were reports once of Buffon going into depression (after Calciopoli I think)... I hope it doesn't happen again...
we are all getting a depression if this season doesn't end soon:shifty:

yeh but i fear we may push him back into the depresssion that he said he felt after the WC when he lost if love for the game & was tinking about a sabbatical. there's no calciopoli to pull him back this time. Even if ranieri if fired it may still take some doin & serious signings to make him happy again, but who?

should this be a time then when the player's (and by players i mean DP, Camo & Gigi) adivce should be taken in to consideration in the tranfer market? Or would simply the istallation of a new coach with fresh ideas and greater ambition be enough to convince the masses?

How soon should the new coach be installed as well is key. Some may say we need to wait until the season is over but I think it should be ASAP as who the new coach would be could possible be very influential in ther decisions of some of our stars this summer and it can also influence who we get. It would aslo give him at least one game to somewhat acess what he's got at this disposal currently.
