Calcio, Buffon: "L'infortunio?

Buffon says his injury is not serious and he should be back in a week maybe against Samp next weekend. He also says he is calm as he seen the saves Manninger made today.

Did u see how Gigi shouted on Molinaro for returning the ball to him while he was limping and almost cost us a goal?
I have nothing against Molinaro, but he should wake up a bit while playing.

I hate when fucking garbage ass teams in EPL get overtaken by some billionare and try to make that club into a world football power. Man City has never ever ever been a great club. This is bullshit, FIFA needs to put a stop to that and put in a salary cap.

Isn't that against the free market rules?

Yes thats true! But maybe Platinis 6+5 rule will be implementet soon. I dont see how that would be against the free market rules but it sure will be some kind of discrimination. Anyhow, its for the best of the sport so EU must be understanding here.

Grande Gigi! He'll be back soon!

And I agree with all you Anti-Molarino dudes...

Juve braced for Buffon absence
Monday 22 September, 2008
Juventus' medical team has announced that Gigi Buffon's injury will keep him out for two games.

Buffon had to be substituted at half-time of Juve's win over Cagliari yesterday when he felt a thigh pain as he kicked a clearance.

The Azzurri No 1 was insistent that the problem wasn't serious but the club aren't taking any risks.

An official statement from the Old Lady estimates Buffon's recovery time at 10 days.

That would mean that reserve 'keeper Alex Manninger would be handed the gloves for Wednesday's game against Catania and also next Saturday's trip to Sampdoria.

Meanwhile, French international striker David Trezeguet will undergo surgery tomorrow for his knee tendon injury

Trez will be out of action until 2009 with the maximum recovery time set at five months.
