Claims from Buffon's agent that two offers have been received for the Juventus number one have sent the rumour mills spinning wild.
One of the two clubs is from Italy, and another from outside, with majority of the speculation pointing towards Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"We have two offers, one from Italy and one from abroad," declared Silvano Martina, Buffon's representative.
"We have communicated that to Juventus; we have not negotiated.
"Both have told me that they are interested in Gigi, and are prepared to speak with Juventus."
The Gazzetta dello Sport believe the Italian club to be AC Milan, despite their recent guarantees over Dida. As for the foreign team, they name both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Turin based newspapers claim that it is indeed Madrid, despite having Iker Casillas on their rolls, but reports in Catalunya insist that Barcelona are the mystery club, having decided that it is time to demote Victor Valdes to number two.
However, Gazzetta also suggest that should Capello continue at the Bernabeu, he will encourage a move for the Azzurri number one, with Casillas going the other way along with some cash.
Meanwhile, Buffon met with Juventus yesterday, in what was the first meeting over his future.
Rumours are already rife. Stay tuned for more...
