i really doubt that rebel..giving deschamps a chance would mean experimenting and only with a bit of luck, we could reach below 8th position
sure, deschamps is a good coach..but when there is a coach who is loved, experienced and is on the beaches of god knows which continent, ill stick with the latter in a situation like this
put deschamps as assistant manager, and when lippi retires in propably 3-4 years, let deschamps take control..all that learning from the no.1 manager(for me) in the world
seriously, which manager would think of bringing steven gerard, even financially, please, gerrard is like del piero in liverpool, a captain and has a god like status with liverpool and its fans..what the hell was deschamps thinking in wanting to buy gerrard, and hes english as well..doesnt deschamps now that most of the english players fail in the italian league

I've just finished reading the article which includes the interview with Buffon. So, here is the situation right now; Buffon is 29, he is eager to taste the highest footballing level again, he announced also that he'd discuss his future with the club and he is confident that we still have four or five years to compete with the likes of Inter and Milan. Bearing in mind that he is the world's no.1 shot-stopper.
Consequently, if I failed to see that he'll leave once the transfer market opens, I'll be a blind man. Everything is pretty clear. All what he is searching for are no longer available in Juventus. Hence, for God's sake, what can enthuse him to remain in Juventus?! On the contrary, he can go to any top European side. A fact that we must digest now before tomorrow.
What makes the whole situation much worse is that any star player we lose we won't easily find a replacement, especially if this star is Buffon. The worst thing, which fears me more than Buffon's departure himself, is that this will probably affect the team's morale and may also affect our summer transfers. If I were a player whom Juve are negotiating and I find that the team's stars are leaving, I'd think hundreds of times before accept to join Juve, even if I was informed about the team's future plan and ambition.

I'm not exploding because only for hearing that Buffon will for sure ditch us, he hinted at it before, but the whole circumstances which the club live aren't that good. Compared to the last damn summer, I see no big difference and I can't sleep, what is more. Ahmedios is spot on, unfortunately. If Buffon leaves that's a very bad sign (and I'm sure now that he will). We don't have CL, our most rated player leaves the club, new media bullsh*t is published every other day, nobody can be sure that there won't be more trials and new punishment, and the only star players who stay for sure are Nedved and Del Piero who are both nearing towards the end of their career. Sure, we have some money, but world class players are getting huge money offered from clubs with better perspectives. I fear we will end up with more players like Grygera and Sali. They are not bad, but we are only getting them, because nobody wants to spend too much money on them. We do.
I'm getting frustrated. I hope our management can do one big coup to show that Juve is still Juve. But I have my doubts, not because of the ability of our management but the circumstances.

Exactly, he thinks that if he leaves, lots of money will be injected in the club and it will be good to strengthen the team. When he said that the team needs four or five ears to be competitive, he meant that the team needs lots of reinforcement and his transfer can finance this.
