Ronaldo at speed + momentum swing = no chance. A penalty and red card is the only other option there, because once he touches the ball he has made the angle past the keeper.
The other option is to stand still on the line and watch him probably put the ball into a gaping net.
Buffon had no blame in the goals tonight. People blaming because he was passed by Ronaldo. When was the last time any keeper in the world simoly picked the ball from him in a 1v1 ?
