As much as I think Buffon is well past it, that goal was not Buffons fault at all. He had no chance of saving that shot, not even in his prime. That goal had Padoin written all over it, not Buffon.

No, we should get a backup and keep Buffon around for the Coppa. A guy who is entering his prime as a keeper with Buffon to feed off for another year would be priceless for us. Also it would keep Buffon, a legend, in the club and perfect ease him into a coaching/technical role after he stops.
