guys... I dont want to ruin the party here, but "show his true colors" "show his loyalty", I mean lets not kidding ourselfs, Im absolutly happy to see Gigi staying, I think its a very great news, but the only reason Gigi is staying is becouse Milan loan out Abbiati to Torino and screw the deal that was going to see Buffon going to Milan.

Again, the important thing is that Buffon is staying, but lavel Gigi in the same category as Del Piero and Nedved (they did show their loyalty) is a bit... I dont know... overeacting?

look, he could have said that he does not want to play in serie B.. there will be more than 10 teams (top teams) that will thankfully take him.

Gianluigi Buffon's agent has stated that the World Cup winning goalkeeper will remain with Juventus in Serie B next season.

The Italian international, widely regarded as the world's best shot-stopper, had been expected to leave the Bianconeri after the sanctions imposed on the club for their part in the Italian match-fixing scandal.

With clubs such as Arsenal, Roma and Milan reportedly circling it seemed as though a season in Serie B with a 30-point deduction would be too much to stomach for a star who is accustomed to the biggest stages.

However, Silvano Martina has now handed Juventus a huge boost in their bid to bounce back from the scandal, insisting that Buffon is prepared to stay with the Turin side for the coming campaign after they turned down an approach from Roma.

"Gigi is staying with Juventus," said Martina.

"He's ready to play in Serie B. There was a bid from Roma to take him on loan but Juve didn't consider it.

"The club said what any club would have, Buffon is an international and they could sell him for a vast fee, there's no reason to loan him."

If he stayed to become a legend, I'd love him again but if he stayed to raise his price, I'd love Juve for doing a good deal.

Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Emerson and Thuram have all gone to Spain, Trezeguet and Camoranesi to Lyon, France.

However we should only really be worried about losing Zambrotta and Camoranesi. Emerson has never been Juve, Thuram had a good world cup?? but his lack of pace is really showing now....and Trez has been looking to leave for a while anyway.

Cannavaro, i refuse to accept he is leaving the Juve, i am hoping he changes his mind.

we will see, we will see, the transfer period is still on, and there are some other clubs who play in first league interested of a gk like buffon. such as arsenal.

Besides if milan have their money from sheva deal, they still could get him, because juve is gona miss 2 years out from european football most probably, while milan will be back in CL in 2 years.

Besides, if his friends and partners in back line (cannavaro, thuram, zambrotta are all gone, its totally differant backline, and there might even be more players leaving, great friends...trezeguet for example.

Faith, bah, he's just trying to make his gambling session suspicions go away by showing some fake loyalty.
maybe he had bet on "Will Buffon leave Juve". And he just won it. :p

I really hope he has a true loyal for Juve and become legendary in Juve.
