I respect him a lot for staying and am grateful that he did.
But when your captain gives the impression that he doesn't care that we lose then that isn't acceptable. Getting angry in defeat is the perfect way to push yourself to not let it happen again, if you brush it off then you are likely to take that lackadaisical attitude onto the pitch the next time you play.
It is no coincidence that some of the biggest winners in the world are the worst losers.
But what do you expect him to do? Keep yelling at his incompetent teammates to get their shit in order? There's only so much of it he can do. He did two years ago towards the end of season, he did it all of last season pretty much. You think he can't see what's going on around him? What can he be expected to do. I don't blame him for any of this. I'm grateful he's pledged allegiance to this mid table team because he's a champion, and he knows he'll walk into any team of his choice, but there's a reason why he's not doing it. Let's respect him for that. He's the worlds greatest, and he doesn't fear competition, but I really don't see any point in him acting like Hulk Hogan and tearing his jersey or chokeslamming Gattusso for having scored, at the end of the game, coz this team is in seventh with little or nothing to play for. He's aligned to this seasons reality, half of which he was unavailable for - and he doesn't need to be hurting himself, so he can be mentally and physically ready next season, to lead the team into it's new stadium and prolong his Juventus career.
He's a legend. Its pointless to question his commitment and/or ability because he wouldn't have been one, if either was lacking.
