meh ill be more than ok to see him leave for a decent sum, bring someone like handanovic in
i can't believe i hear this from you

is it time to sell?
hell no..he with chiello and krasic must be our spine for building a competitive team
Anybody who says this guy isn't sellable is delusional. Might be too late to get a decent bid for him though.

I like Buffon, my 4th favorite keeper ever, but if the right bid comes you've got to sell.

This isn't knee-jerk, I've maintained this for years.

I'm tired of this fucking bullshit squad.
the squad is to blame not the gk

We have at least 20 players to get rid of before even thinking of Buffon and Krasic.

Bad error gigi....

But superman will be back :touched:
it wasn't an error ..he overjumped...this can happen to any gk

Other than Casillas, I can't think of anyone better than Buffon, and Gigi is a more complete keeper than Iker.

sorry blondu, but since gigi returned from injury, he hasn't filled me with the same confidence as storari has this season, i no longer see gigi communicate with his defence, whilst his decision making is suspect at times, watching gigi laughing after the milan game last night filled me with alot of anger, does he really care anymore? i don't think so.

as he once said

"this shirt is heavy, if you can't carry it on your shoulders, dont enter the pitch"

he can't even live by his own words, what a sell out

no offence, i don't care who you are, buffon, chiellini, etc... but if players show little care about the shirt they wear and react that way after yet another defeat, who am i to support his behaviour?

thanks buffon for your services in the past, but with that kind of attitude, i'd sooner see him sold in all honesty, better off starting storari from now on

 He doesn't care? What do you want him to? Get a red card every game to prove it?

I love how people are all over Chiellini and Buffon as if they are the reasons for the crisis. I guess you forgot Del Piero? It's sad. I know you all care and want the best. You're looking for answers but this is ridiculous.

I didn't like that either, after 7 defeats in 11 and making a mistake in the goal I expect him to be angry/upset after another defeat, not joking about and not seeming to care.

Our players used to hate losing, now they joke about after defeats.

I'm doing the same as Buffon. I used to get angry when we lose because it was a rare thing. Now, I decided not to care too much or get too angry. If you dwell on it, you'll just get bitter. Why should Buffon sacrifice hos health and well being because of the failures of others.

Btw, you really are an ungrateful lot. Gigi could've left on many occasions and you all would be calling him "maggot, mercenary, traitor" and he would be experiencing the glory he deserves elsewhere.

I respect him a lot for staying and am grateful that he did.

But when your captain gives the impression that he doesn't care that we lose then that isn't acceptable. Getting angry in defeat is the perfect way to push yourself to not let it happen again, if you brush it off then you are likely to take that lackadaisical attitude onto the pitch the next time you play.

It is no coincidence that some of the biggest winners in the world are the worst losers.

i never said i was ungrateful for buffon's services up till now, im simply not satisfied with his lack of application of late, whilst his behaviour begs the question as to how much he actually cares now

He should probably do what Gattuso did in the Tottenham game, right? No. He has class.

Do you think it's fair that you expect him to have chronic depression while you sit on your chairs watching the games and then going on with your lives?

Do you not remember how he was last season? In the stands, on the sidelines and on the pitch, trying to urge the team on in our worst period, seeing his pain at the humiliations we were facing? There's only so much inspiration he can give. No one is giving him anything back. It was a one-way relationship. It's a miracle that he's still here.

That's how Gigi is. He's the legend of the club and he loves Juve almost as much as DP. He's the best keeper in the world but yet he chose to stay in Juve even when it was the most stupid thing to do and rejected many other clubs instead.

He didn't make the best effort trying to save that Gatumerda shot but still Milan was pretty much bombarding him all the time.

And him smiling after the game. I don't mind it. He just don't want to be nervous all the months long because Juve just sucks right now. The important thing is when playing he gives his best to keep the net clean. And Storari isn't as close as good goalkeeper as Buffon is. He's still our world class player(and there are 2 in the whole team right now)

Why do people go to complete extreme's when making an argument?

Who said that he should headbutt someone?

All I expect is my captain to be angry after a defeat and give off the impression that it hurst to lose to the rest of the team. I don't need dramatics, just go into the changing room and show a bit of determination to not let it happen again, not to joke around with the guy who scored past you.

I remember what he did last season very well and I respect him greatly for that.

No I do not expect a "chronic depression" but I expect some fight and disappointment. If I was not performing well in my job, I would not be brushing it off and not caring.

True

But I just think that it is easier to give your best when you really don't want it to happen again and as a captain he should be giving off that impression to the rest of the team.

I love Buffon to bits but if we get a decent offer for him then we should sell, he isn't what he used to be. He gave loads to the club and i'm sure we all appreciate that but it may be time for him to leave
