As much as I love the guy (and believe me, I do), the fact is that this Juve is not the same as the one before Calciopoli, we need to rebuild the squad and that also means we heed to rejuvenate it and bring in fresh faces and not hold on too old ones for too long when they have less and less to offer.
We did that, didn't we? We let go Camoranesi, Trezeguet and many other players. We have at least 11 new players in this year's squad(more than any other team). I think we are trying to rebuild the squad but I don't think we can do it in a click or in a night. It takes time and the biggest mistake would have been/would be letting Buffon and Del Piero leave. IMHO, these two are fundamental and crucial for reviving Juventus. It would be wrong to get rid of all of them at once and start a new era.

Step by step would be my solution to this.

Slow and steady wins the race.

So how many times have our management denied any transfer talk involving Buffon? I lost track.

Buffon stays.
Recently, also Del Neri stated that he's not stupid to let Buffon go and that Media tried to make some controversy between him and his agent.

And personally, I still don't trust Storari as our goalkeeper, credits to him for playing wonderfully in several matches but maybe I'm just used to someone like Buffon's caliber.

As soon as Gigi is back I want him in the starting line-up.

No doubt about that.

For some reason, even though Agnelli, Marotta and now even Del Neri claim that we won't sell Buffon and that he'll play a big part in our squad once he's fit again, the media still finds a way to create BS rumors about him leaving the club. It's been like this for a while now and it's very irritating.

The media should fuck off and let the man be.

I love how these people are saying, "Hes 32 now he wont be able to be the same Buffon as before"

Look at guys like Oliver Kahn, Edwin Van Der Sar, Mark Schwarzer etc, all top keepers and were/are going strong with great reflexes and saves way into their late 30s...and Gigi is better than all those guys. I have faith in Gigi, he will return to the greatness in no time.
