Buffon: «I was hoping to dedicate the win to my son»
It has been a long Saturday for Gigi Buffon. It started just after midnight with the birth of David Lee, his second son with Alena Seredova. Another little boy after Louis Thomas. An event that, together with the birthday of Juventus, could have rendered this day even more special. It all seemed to be going well, but then it was ruined by Napoli’s comeback.
«Tonight I was really hoping to win to dedicate the victory to David Lee. Instead it all went wrong. We were looking for continuity after beating Sampdoria on Wednesday, but instead I think that it is Napoli who found continuity. I don’t really know what to say about what happened. Perhaps after Giovinco scored our second goal, we thought that we had won the game. It is normal to slow down in such situations and they took advantage of it. Now we must look ahead to the game against Maccabi on Tuesday.»

I hate to see Gigi like this...but he did his part, made some stunning saves as always
