Anyways, 31 is a good age for a goalie. When i think of Zoff, who won WC with 40, of Van der Saar, who won Champions League with 38... 31 is far away from "beeing old" imo - for a goalie.

He's in excellent form. For 3 matches in a row he comes up with wonder saves, which might be the reason why his teams won all three matches.
First that amazing one hand save vs Totti to stop Roma taking a 2:1 lead, then those saves against Georgia and tonight's save at 1:0.

Saves like these will be a difference maker in tough CL matches against strong opposition and if he keeps this form then......... i won't say more, i don't want to jinx anything
