Juventus call Inter’s Pazzini
By Football Italia staff
Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has today been in contact with Inter’s Giampaolo Pazzini, reports Sky Sport Italia.
Pazzini is on his way out of San Siro after being told that he is not in the plans of former youth team boss Andrea Stramaccioni.
The Italian international has been linked with a variety of clubs inside and outside of Italy, but a move to Turin may be on the horizon.
According to the report, Marotta called Pazzini earlier today to underline the fact that he could be targeted by the Old Lady before the window closes.
Marotta knows Pazzini well given that he signed him for Sampdoria from Fiorentina. He then tried to net him for Juve in January 2011, but he joined Inter instead.
Juve could need a new attacker given that Alessandro Matri is being linked with a switch to Milan, while there is also uncertainty over the future of Fabio Quagliarella.
Pazzini, 28 in August, scored just five League goals in 33 games for the Beneamata last season.
