it also goes that it's a bit clueless and culturally insensitive for an Israel flag-waver to think that there won't be people who will interpret that as some sort of political statement.
:agree: :agree:

And for Mexico flag, I don't remember I heard that Mexico is your enemy...

Here's the difference...

Exactly...

How many of those criticized me watched news in the same day whan that Ghanaian player did what he did??

Did you read somewhere that a family with 8 members were bombed while spending their day on a picnic on Gaza beach?? Did you see the only alive daughter of this family crying on the body of her father and yelling sadly??

When you watch something like that, and some ignorant man comes at night to waive the flag of those who did the massacre in the morning, then you'll understand why people here were annoyed by that...
Yes I did watch it. But guess what? My conclusion was that the Ghanaian player had nothing to do with that!? Strange huh? I must be be really dumb.

No, I wasn't supporting him in that opinion. That was honestly pretty pathetic. People should never mix politics with the World Cup.

I'm not even saying I agree with ReBel, I'm just saying that 99% of you have no idea what a Palestinian goes through on a daily bases; what you read is not even half of it, so for you to come here and accuse and criticize him is very ignorant.

Lemme put it in terms you'll understand in...

Can you blame 2 Pac and Biggie for their lyrics? No? Why? because they grew up in that kind of environment. You don't support it, you know it's wrong, but you understand them what their coming from. Because anyone who goes through such conditions is bound to be a in a certain way. Yet, when someone like ReBel says something just as similar, he's straight up accused of all kinds of shit.
Still doesn't make sense. Sorry, football, an Israel flag and a Ghanaian victory cannot constitute some sort of terrorism support base against Palestina in my eyes.

If he waved the flag of those who did the massacre, aren't you waving the flag of those who bombed the busses with that little flag under your name?

Ignorance goes both ways.

I don't represent another country else than mine...

I won't blame Israelis for doing what they want to do if they qualify (They won't for sure)...

But being from another country and waving that flag means only one thing:

I support that country, and I represent my country, so my country supports that country...

Hard for you, eh??

Jesus christ give it a rest will you, no-one cares. A ghana player waved an israel flag because he has an attachment to that particular country. Big fucking deal boo hoo!

Considering the Ghana player lives in Tel Aviv and waved an Israeli flag, I can come to the conclusion that he feels something for Israel. As someone pointed out earlier, blood is not the only way to connect you to a nation.

I have my roots in one country, and I live in another. If I were playing for either NT, I wouldn't mind waving the flag of the other nation. Simply because I love them both.

By those standards the Dutch flag is a symbol of slave trade, the German flag a symbol of nazism, the Spanish flag a symbol of massacre and the British flag a symbol of depletion.

Well, ask those who were hurt by those countries, and they'll answer you...

I can't answer instead of them, but I recommend you to start your research from Surinam and Poland...

You're running out of air, Rebel. I don't even see what your point with all of this is. What should be done, punish the Ghana player? Send flowers to those he offended?

No, see, the world doesn't work that way. Undoubtedly if I wanted to find 'evidence' for what I said earlier I'd find a bunch of idiots willing to verify.

But when it comes down to it, there is no group of people completely the same simply because they share a nationality (or any other aspect).

Not all Israelis are viciously murdering bastards. Not all Dutchmen were slave traders (and for god's sake, it's been centuries ago!). And not all Arabs are murdering extreme fundametalist Muslims the world would be better off without.

I realise it's nice and easy for you to place labels on huge groups of people who share something completely insignificant along the lines of a flag or a skin colour, but you're wrong in doing so.

No, I'm so convinced with the apology of the Ghanaian foreign minister, so the case is closed for me...

Rebel u have got to understand that if someone support Israel it doesn't mean that he is against Palestinian.
I really don't know what u think but most of the things that happen in Israel don't relate to u the palestinian people and maybe the player of Ghana that doesn't even know what is going on in here just love us.

What kind of a fucking statement is this? No offense mate, but the world would be better without pompous people like you who've never felt a scratch in their lives, living confortably in their lovely little homes in countries such as Belgium. Walk a day in ReBel's shoes before you say something like that.

Sorry, but that just fuckin pisses me off.
Same here.

First of all the man who waved his flag is not ignorant.

Second, what does a Ghanian man playing football in Germany, waving an Israeli flag after winning a game have to do with a Palestinian family in Gaza?

Third, if you have so much grudge in you and everything happens around you is realted to your cause, then go spill your guts somewhere else. We are all here enjoying people getting connected with each other for the sake of football and the World Cup is just strengthening this. Take from the words of Maresca, he said it yesterday, that people from all over the world came to Germany, where he lives, for the sole purpose of enjoying a sport. They are to celebrate with each other and to express their happiness; not to wish for each other to go to hell.

Togo is a former French colony; I saw you brought history in the equation, and the train that was dancing in the stadium last night was something to remember. Did you see it? Learn from it.

And last but not least, when you decide to leave the forum stand up to your word as much as you stand up to the thoughts you hammer us with everyday.

Israel occupied a part of my country and is still considered an enemy, but just to annoy you Forza Israel!
