yesterday I posted this in the Arsenal-Juventus thread:
------------------------------------------------
fvck off.. this what we have seen this season from viera and co. is surly not better than tachinardi or Maresca. even if tachinardi has not the best vision and may be physicaly not the strongest, but he played with heart.. he was running, he was trying hard... we paid 20 millions for viera, and just gifted our best 2 midfielders.. Bravo Capello, bravo moggi

------------------------------------------
this was the worst deal of the history of juve..
Maresca is sold to sevilla, and I heard today that Vilareal had decided to keep Tachinardi and will pay juve 3 millions for him.. may be we can change tachi with Viera..

Even Tacchinardi doesn't want to play for Juventus anymore

And I have nothing to say but to RESPECT Alessio's choice. I mean taking Blasi and Gianni over him???? gimme a chance. Same goes to Appiah and Enzo.

The fact that we need a proper offensive midfielder is out of the question. The problem is even if we get one he will be used out of position. Capello will never play with a formation that sees a player playing being the forwards (aka nedved during the Lippi years). During 2002 season Nedved managed to score 13 goals. Now nedved is barely scoring.. Hell, neddy is barely shooting.
Look at any attack we make, if the deffense manage to cut the ball from lets say ibra there is no one to back him up. Vieira and Emerson are way too behind.

The reason that I said lets bring back Maresca is that with Capello's current tachtics Maresca will be able to play as a centre midfilder who goes offensively durng the attack.

During my school years, we once had a soccer coach who used to be coach of one of the biggest clubs here. He always used to say, if you don't shoot on goal, if you don't try, you won't score. The fact that there are shots going towards the goal makes the opponement beware.
When Capello came to Juve the number of shots Juve shoots a game went down alot.
Our strikers are terrific, they don't get supplies from the midfield yet they can manage to score alot. If we had someone like Aimar, Kaka..etc playing as central offensive midfielder we would be able to finish each game with 4 or 5 goals scored.
Zlatan is off form, so what??? He ain't gettin any help from the midfield to help him move better. Each player is trying by himself. Thats why we are not scoring lately. When Del Piero is on the field look where does he stand? He goes really back to try to build up the game. Something Vieira should be doing.

Currently I'd pick Gianni over Vieira anytime. He plays from his heart. As if he was a bianconeri for the past 10 years. All respect goes to him. You feel that he is willing to die just to save the team. What a person. What a player.
Players like this are forgiven for their mistakes.
Tacchinardi was willing to anything for the old lady to win. He was a captain. He was a TRUE BIANCONERO.
Look at Thuram. Although he is doing alot of mistakes lately but noone can say anything bad at him except that he is off form or getting old. Why? Because he is playing from his heart.
Players that you buy for millions and just bring them here when they are old and what them to give you two or three years at the max will rarely develop this love and pride of wearing the jearsy. We have to work more on our youth. I am not saying make the whole team under 25. But make a mix. Bring a young Italian CB and start playing him along side cannvaro. First during easy games, then bring him up the world. Playing Thuram as a starter next year would be stupid. We need someone. And to get another old fellow is not good either.

    good post!

you are right we were not able to put pressure on arsenal for 2 minutes every attack ended in a counterattack. there was a big whole between the midfield and striker.

Everytime we had an opportunity to counter attack them, we lost the ball. I dont know why our players passes the ball like SHIT, but EVERY fvcken time they lost it. To an arsenal player or out of the pitch, due to misjudging.

Gadamm.. CAPELLO! what are you doing on practice? Not letting the players pass?
And let Ibra loose some weight, man!

ya have made a very good point...when I used to attend Juve-Milan games under Lippi with Milanista friends I remmber how they fears Neddy's long range shoots the most as he was playing behind strickers...

now with Capello in charge Neddy is not a key player in our tactics... a left winger who can be easily stopped by a good RB...

True. fucken Crapello. Bring LIPPI BACK!

I want Nedved to shoot more. Noone fears our midfield. Just run thru the old guns.
I want Midfielders who can shoot. Vieira and Emerson both are peglegged. And shoot worse than Swedish players. We need Gerrard, Lampard, tacchinardi types!
