Wait, your cartoons were broadcasted in German? And you actually learned German from that?
Our TV channels were shit back then and everyone had satellite.

I used to watch Super RTL, RTL and the rest of channels all day long.

Cartoons, movies, documentaries, sports and everything else.

I used to understand 99% of them. And I still do when I get to read some text or watch TV, maybe not every word but most of it yes.

My friend got married and moved to Gratz last year and had to pass A1, he was attending an intensive German course and still found it not so easy, I'd probably pass B2. :D
