Wait, your cartoons were broadcasted in German? And you actually learned German from that?
Our TV channels were $#@! back then and everyone had satellite.

I used to watch Super RTL, RTL and the rest of channels all day long.

Cartoons, movies, documentaries, sports and everything else.

I used to understand 99% of them. And I still do when I get to read some text or watch TV, maybe not every word but most of it yes.

My friend got married and moved to Gratz last year and had to pass A1, he was attending an intensive German course and still found it not so easy, I'd probably pass B2. :D

RTL II :touched:

i was spending hours watching those cartoons every day

Same here, satellite was the shit and the only place you could watch DBZ back then.

I still prefer German names for Pokemons. Schiggy is so much better than Squirtle, I don't even have to say how cool Turtok and Glurak sound.

@lgorTudor

Heilsbringer Tasci! HOLD ME! :touched:

he was right.

Pro7, Sat1, DSF... fun times. Apart from German channels I had Sky one for a few years and learned English by watching Santa Barbara :lol2:

But back then I could also turn my satelite at another angle to watch Italiens. :D

Zweckoptimismus
They think every doubtful transfer turns out like Douglas Costa
Not really. But with all the injuries and doubts Bayern has with the defenders it is good to have an extra one. We do not think that Tasci is on the level of our defenders - but Boateng is out until the end of the season, Martinez is out for atleast a month, Benatia in the recent months was seldom not injured for more than three matches in a row and you still have to be careful with Badstuber. There is just too many questionmarks. Without the injury problems Bayern would have two sets of real good central defenders...

What Bayern needs right now is another defender that can give Badstuber (and later on Martinez and Benatia, too) necessary rests against smaller opponents. And that is something that even Tasci should be able to guarantee. The defender that would really help right now and that could play the big matches aren't available in the winter window.

What I just found...

Khedira and Tasci with 13... (they played with each other from 1999 to 2010 in the same teams)

I watched the first half, it bored me so I skipped on 2nd one.
The second was way better, but still the Leverkusen keeper didn't need to make a save. They had 3 good chances though, but didn't hit the target - Lewandowski - 1 and Muller - 2. Leverkusen are looking like a semi-professional team upfront sadly.

FT 0-0 , a fair result.
