We played an excellent first half, helped also by our amazing fans,” said Tuchel.

“We defended well against a very strong side. In order to hurt them, you have to be courageous and escape from their pressure.

“It’s not easy, but it is the only way to trouble them. We had possession for long periods and went close to scoring, but couldn’t get the goal.”

Didn't watch the game but based on Tuchels comments what do you reckon we should do to overcome the bayern?

Don't think that's really true though :D
I don't blame the management for selling him after numerous problems with discipline and the terrible crash in Chile. But... he is simply a beast as a DM, his second half performance vs Dortmund was brilliant, even if he is nowhere near his form in the first two seasons with Juve he is still a very good player.

Also Dortmund escaped their pressure with quick slick passing/runs, something we failed at because we could barely hold the ball more then few seconds for first hour. Defenitely need to have better technique and trained passing patterns / movements withstand their first line of pressure. If you do you will have ample space to counter, as happend often in first half in this game. 2nd half Dortmund couldn't play with same intensity and succumbed to a more bunker approach while Bayern passed around them to death.

Gundogan just recovered from an injury. no idea about the other 2 but probably getting rested for EL against Liverpool
No idea why they play their second team
i think for the majority of Dortmund fans the Schalke match is even more important than the Liverpool one.
the meltdown if they lose to Schalke fielding a B-team :touched:
