Both teams were missing so many players and BVB looked significantly sharper than Bayern.

I've never considered Guardiola among the top of the pop, but at the same time it's hard to argue he is shit. He managed to win, i've seen good teams go trophyless before (even Real had a hard time with the 'oh so fantastic' Mourinho and a fantastic team).. But i agree, those who consider him the best manager in the world are off. What he is doing to Bayern is laughable. Not really taking the Super Cup to much into regard, but just last season, even though they won a lot, it just didn't seem like that invincible Bayern team from the year before under Heynckes. They lost some of the aggresive dominant style of play, and instead became incredibly predictable. They still have amazing players, so it is a fantastic team nonetheless.. I just don't feel we would have 0 % chance to beat them like i felt that season they nailed everything down.

Furthermore, Guardiola seems like the kind of coach who is very stubborn and can't manage when his ideas doesn't work like on his scratchboard. And he seems to have some issues at the personal level, he tends, from my view, to get favourites in his squad and give them to much trust and not giving the chance to other guys..

He's going to win the Bundesliga and the German cup yet again most probably, wouldn't put it past him to win his third CL.

But the thing is, theres no winning with you guys, when he wins a trophy and spanks coaches like Mourinho and Ferguson time and time again, you come out with excuses like he has a great team, when he loses the knee jerk reactions are out of the closet.

So just tell me in advance; if or when he wins a CL with Bayern, what would the excuse be?
