I think basically people are trying to say that there are less prestigious teams in the Bundesliga than there are in Serie A, which I agree with. But for all of their attraction, fan base and promise the likes of Napoli, Roma and to a lesser extent Lazio and Fiorentina haven't actually won all that much between them.

Potentially big clubs, or have been for a short time once, but not really.

Of course these are only counted from the 60s, when the Bundesliga was formed, so teams like Nürnberg, Dynamo Berlin and the like fall completely off the map. By comparison the Serie A has been recognised in a national format since 1898.

The real difference is that Serie A has three giant historical clubs, Germany only has one.

true but those two Milan brothers are no giant anymore, in the past yes but recent time not and they slowly disappear from international football

I think you are writing their brands off too early, look how we struggled around 2010-11. Milan in particular have a bigger international fan base than us because of their CL successes and constant image pushing.

Yes, but this was about history :D

And in the present, Napoli, Lazio, Roma are still better than every Bundesliga team bar Bayern, and perhaps Wolfsburg, although they got their asses handed to them against Napoli this season quite convincingly.

looks good so far...

whats the point of those relegation games anyway?

if you play 34 games in league 1 and end up on place 16,
you deserve league 2.

if you play 34 games in league 2 and end up on place 3,
you deserve league 1.

...all for the money...unfair.

damn, karlsruhe should be leading by 2 or more goals already...

OMG those lucky SUCKERS...hamburg scores...
GO DOWN ALREADY ffs.

I don't really give a shit about this (or anything Bundesliga related) btw. Hamburg is a nice city though, and it's kinda neat that they've never been down before :D
