watching Dortmund x Wolfsburg, random thoughts:

* Dortmund are very far from the dortmund of last couple of years. They are simply not in the same level. The tempo of their game is alot slower now. Almost no pressure applied against wolfsburg who had ball position with no problems.

* their defense is terrible. So vulnerable and so easy to penetrate.

* Surprisingly the attack is very good. Very underrated. Immobile has gotten alot better than torino days, he really surprised me, regardless of his great goal. Aubamyang is mainly fast, often drops to the wings and lets immobile handle the defenders.

* De bruyne is great. Good potential. He was bossing the midfield all game.
The attack is very good at creating chances, and terrible at finishing them. The number of easy chances their forwards miss is ridiculous. It's as bad as Juve with Matri, Vucinic, Borriello leading the line when we were creating 25-30 shots a game.

@Lion is right when he says if we can't beat this team we have no right to be in the CL.
Certainly agree with this. This team is a shadow of what they were the last couple years.

Dortmund still in the relegation zone, and 12 points out of the CL places after 16 rounds. They've scored 17 goals in 16 games which is 4th least in the entire Bundesliga.

Immobile probably man of the match for Dortmund and also worst of the match. A goal and an assist to earn the draw, but had 7 clearcut chances in the box and was excessively wasteful. Also offside 4 times as he couldn't get his runs timed right. And conceded the corner that led to the equalizer.

Yeah, it's hard to tell if Immobile is a hero or a villain for Dortmund. Still, it's kinda alerting how many chances they created.

If they learn to finish, and their backline can figure out how to play more as a unit, and their keeper can well improve his reflexes, they could be very very dangerous. That's a lot of "ifs" though and I just don't see it all happening for them.

I also don't see our defenders giving the ball away as appallingly often as Wolfsburg's did today, especially the unpressured giveaways like the one that led to Immobile's goal. That was worse than anything I've ever seen from even Bonucci.

Watch us being unable to score a single goal against them.
no way.their defense is horrible. this is the kind of game morata could really thrive in. he's fast and very direct and dortmund defenders dont know how to deal with that sort of thing. they are even worse than bonucci of last year in that regard.

And one more thing I forgot, their GK is terrible.

 Morata should definitely start especially the 2nd game if we make a good result in the 1st. we could sit back at times and hit them on the counter

Watch Allegro to play Llorente 'to have a reference in attack'.

Weird optimism in here. So far we were the under performers in CL while they always step up. We lack pace and finishing to be something more in CL.
