Taking Middlesborough to a UEFA Cup final was pretty good.
Well Hodgson took Fullham to a UEFA Cup final too, nobody seems to think positive about him. I don't think McClaren really has a highlight in his career besides Twente and although losing all top players the current coach of Twente is doing better asap.

I rate Hodgson as a coach.

He is a top notch striker but Tevez as a lone striker is probably the best you can get.
Tevez is killing it this season, like last season :D
Captain, motivating the team, scoring, he's doing it all..
:agree:

Byrone's got a point too. I just like to see stuff like that come back to slap em in the face.

May I ask why? Not that I know much about him besides his Fullham raping my precious Juventus
He knows how to organise a team, particularly in defence.

There was something going on at Liverpool, besides the takeover, that meant he was never given a chance (players and fans didn't take to him from the start).

We didn't have players that suited Hodgson's style of play or his locker room mentality or his media savvy. Add to that he was hired by unpopular owners and it isn't surprising that things didn't work out.

Sure, I'm just saying that I don't think any less of Hodgson because of what happened at Liverpool.
I've seen him do explanations of tactics before he managed us and after and he seems to have a really good grasp on the game.

Samp could run relegation quite close.

They don't have that big a cushion, so once they start sliding, they could find themselves under pressure very quickly.

Well, if both teams get relegated, they can share the coveted most stupid club award. I'm down for that.

Their fans must really hate us with passion, we stole Marotta and Del Neri when they were at top form, and got Di Carlo instead, couldn't make the CL, and everything started going even worse, they lost Cassano, and then Pazzini (we could be the reason too). They must really hate us with passion :D
