I don’t recall if I have asked before, but did you watch Taboo, the first season? Plotline was a little scattered at times (though still good), but the period setting, the atmosphere and mood, the cast were all fantastic imo. So frustrating that a second season hasn’t started filming yet.

Yea I'm a big Tom Hardy fan and thought it was great. From what I remember it was his own creation.

Have you seen Locke?
Basically a movie that consists of nothing but Tomy Hardy on his Phone driving down the motorway at night but still manages to feel like a thriller.

Yeah. Taboo was the creation of Tom Hardy and Steven Knight. The latter also wrote and directed Locke. Definitely agree on that one being quite adept at feeling like a thriller. Hardy has some great acting chops.

I'd know idea they were made by the same director, it's a coinsedance I thought of Locke when you mentioned Taboo.

I didn't know that Netflix had a series about Roman Empire. I will have to see, i cannot compare them both. Anyway this one shows the end of the Roman Empire, after 1100 years.

I think first season was brilliant and we hardly see such quality nowadays. Without competition totally. Second season, however, was total shit and a disaster. I think third season is quite good and worth watching, though.
