I like watching an episode a week as it gives me something to look forward to and i can savor the show. I regret watching the likes of Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy in just a week or two where it felt like I was racing through some of the epsiodes.

Ok, I have reached the point where it really is dry. I finished The Wire a couple of days ago and I have kept it as a backup until such a day. It was really really great, I enjoyed the extremely dark humour, the realism, the irony of certain things and the events that you cannot avoid.

The question is, what to watch now....
I'd recommend "The Sopranos", if you haven't seen it. People have had mixed opinions about it but I liked it quite a bit and even re-watched it a month or two after going thru it for the first time. Would be best to stick with it trhu the first 8-10 episodes as it kind of grows on you after that. Could be a nice departure from some of the overly grim and violent shows that are all over the place these days ... even if itself is a mob family story.

Another one, still ongoing and into it's 5th season iirc, would be "Justified" - again should bare with it beyond the first 5-6 episodes before it becomes really good.
If you are looking for something lighter and less involved, "Suits" would be a good choice.

Other shows worth looking into and worthy of being on one's bucket list (all have already finished airing) - "Deadwood", "Rome", "OZ", "Six Feet Under". From a while back, you should also check out Twin Peaks too, if you already haven't.

Some intriguing shows that are just starting off so the jury is still out on them - Fargo, Penny Dreadful (horror) and Silicon Valley (comedy)
