Yeah, after about the third episode of this season it was suckage. The finale was goodfrom a standpoint that it created a massive amount of drama when things were stale for about the last 6 episodes.
They need to introduce a new major character in order to avoid the repetitive plot lines that haunted this season.
I have been telling you which show to go for now that Dexter, SoA and Breaking Bad are over. and I think the 4th season's premier is in January, so just in time to cover the previous 3.

I just covered the first season of AHS, haven't had the time for the 2nd. I haven't even started watching Boardwalk Empire's 3rd season and that's one of the shows I usually follow .

What I heard problematic about Homeland is the heroic disbelief crutch... the overplayed plot device where to increase the heroic standing of the against-all-odds hero, they continually get disbelief at incredulous claims ... even if they've done that dozens of times prior with the same people.
There's only so many times you can tell me that Cagliari is winning the Scudetto where I can still disbelieve you. After their 6th consecutive Scudetto, my incredulous disbelief starts to look pretty stoopid.

It's repetitive as fuck. The writers have been trying to add really awkward plot points, which for some reason tend to happen in similar scenarios from episode to episode.
