One more underrated factor of Squid Game is seeing the reveal of Lee Byung-Hun being the game host (watched with my sisters who are overly into korean pop culture, and they all gasped like school girls haha). Its like seeing Brad Pitt behind the mask of a random new american psycho series of survival and greed. Tho even as a mega movie star, he has done tv before, Lee Byung-Hun, Iris was pretty damn good spy series.
