Four episodes in on Mindhunter, it's not outstanding if you expect tension or a not boring protagonist but the setting and dialogues are fun, it shines a light on a significant turning point in criminology and Ed Kemper scenes are the cherry on top.
I am, it's Twin Peaks with pretentious teens and without mystery. I am enjoying it a lot but it's probably safe to call it a not very good show objectively.
It's a bunch of teens being pretentious and acting as if they have so much more complex personalities than every adult ever. I think it's probably written for 14-17 year olds tbh.

Did you finish watching the whole thing? What did you make of it? The story itself wasn't intriguing imo, but the characters (and those who play them) are top notch. Will definitely watch season 2.
I watched 2 episodes when it came out, it was alright. The big guy who's his friendly muscle stood out for me.
Reminds me I need to pick it up again. A series I started same time as chance and saw way more episodes of (tho still just half way through, forgot about it too), recommend it more then chance, is this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4687880/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2

Just a comfortable little show without annoying elements flying your way. I liked the main story revolving around their research and the sideplots when they helped local police catch killers applying their new method. Interviews with killers had intense atmosphere to them. Characters picked up depth as the show progressed and one could argue Bill's and Holden's respective arcs went into opposing directions. I hope Season 2 is about that killer we saw before the opening and in the last shot of E10

I didn't finish the first episode of Mindhunter, the protagonist gets on my nerve. Will probably give it another go dunno if I'll get the same impression
