Is last ship good? Gave up on it after 1-2 eps.

I was, uhhhh, in the same boat.

About 3-4 eps in, I realized that it was trying hard to be a more modern Star Trek on a ship in the middle of a biological epidemic. I wasn't up for a second-rate Star Trek wannabe.

I watched Mr. Robot last night this shit is gonna be big.

Finally saw the premiere tonight. I quite liked it. The first 20 minutes were epic - some of the best 29 minutes I've seen on TV. The following 40 just pretty good, however, as the story weakened and the execution slacked a little.

Still a quite surprising show to be carried on USA.

i did too, found it to be a cheap and pretty dull version of fight club. Also the techiness of it is pretty embarrassing.

I could see the connection. But Utopia had similar elements, and that show was brilliant.

As one of his fanboys here promoted in this thread not long ago, Rami Malek is really well cast in this. The techiness of it has its holes, but it's still far more realistic about those details than 98% of the shows that attempt that. It's a little heavy-handed, but for someone who knows just enough given my professional life, it works.

didn’t like it.

it might be a great show (hbo = BOOBS) but its not for me.

others may love it though. americans probably.
