I watched like 4 episodes of Suits. Not too bad gotta say, at least it's entertaining.

Btw Banshee spoiler from the first season:

- when that girl kills a guy after fighting with him for 20 minutes, being stabbed and pulling the knife out -- stabbing him -- and surviving

- when that policeman takes a gun while being on the ground, shoots that guy, and that guy with a bazooka turns 45 degrees and shoots his friend (and all of them)

- when that girl shoots her father twice, yet they found out he escaped OF COURSE and survived

- WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT

Suits really is quite entertaining, great fun, some decent characters. Watched the first 3 seasons I think. Nothing too special as well though.

Shantel Vansanten from Gang Related looks like the white version of Meghan Markle from Suits.

Man, that tv show reduces the IQ. Seriously.

To watch it for what? I have Porn Hub and You Porn when it comes to sex.
No worries, Looking from HBO is more your scene.

Always agreed. But the Coen brothers were a little too "clean" in the finale in some ways, and sloppy in others. Still an awesome series. But there were details that seemed uncharacteristic of them (in terms of plausibility of the story) and surprised me.
iirc, they didn't have any part in directing or writing the series and it was pretty loosely based on the movie. I know what you mean but it still had that "Cohen" feel for me, for the most part, with it's own twists. True the finale could have been different, more Cohen-like, possibly better (as was with True Det. in some ways), but thought it had its own merits the way it was, depending on interpretations.

This. They are executive producers - aka attaching their name to the show to get money and to get clueless Portuguese fans to watch the show. :p

That being said, I've heard it's better than the movie. Still haven't watched it though.

Saw True Detective ages ago, everything about it was perfect. Hopefully season 2 doesn't disappoint.
The ending was not even close to perfect.

Well, it wasn't just the finale...
I liked the parallels between Lester Nygaard and Stavros Milos in their transformation from hen-pecked husbands to successful big-shot men because of their muses: either a bag of money or an encounter with a hitman. But then again there were things like:
* Why is Malvo carrying around tapes other than to patch a plot where they could not convict Lester of murdering his wife?
* Lester went from Walter White, school teacher, to Walter White, drug kingpin, in a remarkable short time
* WTF was Lester's plan by waving off the cops and FBI when he knew Malvo was after him and wouldn't stop until he killed him?
* How spotlessly clean and tidy was that ending? But what happened to Mr. Wrench, the deaf dude?

Etc...

I can see your point but as I said, there is lot's of room left to interpretation in Fargo and that's one of the things I like about it ... it's where that depth comes thru, that multi-dimensionality of the characters. That opposed to an all-out entertainment juggernaut like GoT where just about all there is to the characters is revealed (or about to be, as the story goes along) right in front of you, without much left to the imagination bar maybe an exception here and there - a plot driven primarily by the "entertainment" factor, Hollywood style.

To your points:

* Malvo is the symbol of the wild, uncivilized wrecking havoc in a quiet, mundane piece of civilization like Fargo. What he does is push civilized, normal people to the brink of breaking them or turning them into animals like him, predators (hence the shades of green riddle). The tapes are his mementos of that process allowing him to relive it again and again, very much like a serial killer's trophies.

*I think they just showed us a sample of the his transformation process and what would push him into becoming Walter White the kingpin over time before jumping forward (was it a year or two later?) when the change had fully blossomed but still not complete as he was still exhibiting moments of fear, insecurity, etc. Lester I think symbolized the inherently "bad" that only needed a strong enough push to reveal its true nature and come to love it, embrace it to the point where you would wonder who was worse - Malvo or Lester. That is, there wasn't necessarily that far to go in terms of "transformation" in Lester's case.
- an alternative way of looking at this could be that Lester wasn't necessarily an animal in hiding but maybe all people are inherently equally good or bad and what they become is really just a matter of how far/hard they ended up being pushed. The weak ones would break along the way before the transformation is complete but those like Lester who somehow manage to survive the process would always end up giving way to their basic animalistic instincts. etc, etc.

*A new-born predator's fear of getting caged aka arrested now that he's found his true calling and no longer has to hide. He still had hopes of evading it all by fleeing away but probably also to a point he was willing to risk going head to head with another beast as opposed to ending up in jail. part of the process where he embraces his transformation as it's no longer just a source of danger or a nuisance he regrets.

*Maybe we'll see him in next season but I personally see it as an example of a transformation opposite to that of Lester's ... again caused by his encounter with Malvo. Lester was an example of a wolf in sheep's clothing losing said clothing; the deaf guy was a sheep in a wolf's clothing who passed for a bad-ass killer compared to normal people but wussed out when he faced a true animal like Malvo ... etc

Watched an episode of Arrow because I keep hearing how awesome it is.

Absolute CRAP, bad acting, bad writing, typical teen angst drama with the token black guy along with a complete cast of decent looking people.

I'll never, ever watch tripe that's on the CW ever again.
