I read a reviewer say there's cutscenes and dialogues that will get you up to speed so not necessary. There are probably recaps on youtube too.

But imo if you have the time you should, it's a coming of age kinda story.

Man I always wanted to own a hand-held but I never the chance. Steamdeck looks amazing. But Switch 2 seems like a good option.

KCD II is fantastic as expected.

just a heads up @Osman if you thought the first one was brutal good luck bro I’ve played about 7-8 hours so far and haven’t done much but die a million times.

Combat is more fluid and less clanky but still difficult. No shield or armor means you’re fucked which is my case atm.

Thanks for heads up. More fluid is key detail, combat was quite awkward rhythm in first game.

Is the world content difference between 1 and 2 significant @CrimsonianKing ? Because I have one and it's hard drive space is 23gb. While checked 2nd game and it's 107gb, that's pretty big gap in size.

I have only opened a small portion of the map so not sure how big it is but it should be immense compared to the first one.

I never had a PS Vita, but it sure looks like a lot of fun! I miss the days of modding. Modern gaming devices (mobile phones, consoles, etc.) are all so clean and sanitized now - everything just works out of the box. These older devices actually had some personality.
