I have Rad9500PRO,after having Rad9000Pro for about 2 years.....In 2 years of having it,she made all games running at good speed,now I have even better card and I run HL2 and CS2 at highest level with no problem. Todays cards are overrated....and overpriced

Try play Far Cry at highest and Doom3...

U will lag so much that u cant play.

Even with my:

Pentium 4 [email protected] 2x512mb ddr memory, dualchannel & Radeon 9800XT its kinda laggy if I have full on everything...

I have Far Cry running at the highest settings and I have no lag whatsoever.


I'm running an AMD 64 3400+ (2.4 Ghz), 2 x 512 Mb memory, and a Radeon 9600Pro.

I'm surprised it's lagging on yours.

im playing verision 1.0 on farcry, maybe its that? I have 4x Anti aliasing too.. maybe thats why?

That's on the video options page, right? Before you click on the "Advanced" icon? If so, I didn't mess with that. I went to "Advanced" and hit the "very high" settings button.
