ex Juventus supporter. He made an announcement 2years ago or maybe more that he's a Barcelona fan and he's leaving the forums and that he is no more interested in Juventus.
True, but he did offer an explanation. If you live in Barcelona, I think it's more than okay to support the club. I'm not a fan of Barça myself, but having lived with two girls from there, I do know that it's a club that lives in the city.

What you said could be true. But I just found it weird, the day Juventus were officially relegated and the day Barcelona were dominating Europe, he decided to become Barcelona fan and leave his scarf and jersey down according to what he said If I remember.

    :pint: Ian!

    Cheers, mate.
    Ian. Good to see you.
    Welcome back Ian.
    Hey guys. :toast:

It was one week after Barcelona won the CL :lol2:
And now he likes Rangers after their run in the UEFA Cup. :lol2:
Oh please...I've always been a Rangers fan...MY grandfather was a groundskeeper for them, for christ's sake...

Weird? Well, you should know I'm a weird bloke, so I don't see anything out of sorts in that respect. It's nice to know that you've let it go...

p.s. :rndh: best smilie I've ever seen!

What have you been up to, Ian?
Well, a number of things. I've been globe trotting as usual, trying to keep the family fortune from sliding into the abyss of global financial crisis. That takes up most of my time, unfortunately, but aside from that I continue to work on my writing, I'm currently breeding a particularly kick-ass strain of cannabis, and I've been coaching goalkeeping for a youth league, part-time. Don't worry though, I still find time to get all wasted and party-hardy...

    You?

Writing, huh? What do you write?

Whereabouts in the world are you lately?

I moved to Utrecht to go to grad school and I've been here for about 2 years now. Haven't bothered to learn Dutch cause it's *so easy* to get by with English here. Football wise I'm greatly dismayed at what seems to be an absolute ban on public pitches though, I've seen almost all of Utrecht and there isn't a single one. What's more, people love putting up pretentious signs all over the place that say "this is my property", as if anyone cares. (Not around pitches, cause those are already gated, but in various other places.) Since I've been here I've only played once, in a park, and it sucked.

I've also, inevitably I suppose, had my first encounter with your favorite substance. I live in a student house and for a while I had an obnoxious Italian neighbhor who didn't give a shit, so it would seep into my room as gas does. That sucked too. On the whole, though, it doesn't get in my way, so I don't really care that people use it.

Everybody has their vices I see.

So, Ian, how does it feel to not be a Juventus supporter now?
It's actually pretty sweet. I don't have to watch italian footy anymore, which was always so boring...It's nice to see Del Piero doing so well, but I hardly recognize anybody from the team anymore...Oh well, bygones...

Writing, huh? What do you write?
Mostly poetry. I'm also getting into essays, but I rather crap at both, so I guess it's good that I have an inheritance to live off of...

I still maintain my primary residence in Barcelona, but I've been spending a lot of my time in the States, the wife is working in Philadelphia, so I find myself in that "lovely" city a lot.

That's beat. I guess you've got to join a club to get any pitch time... What are getting a degree in?

Those bloody Italians...I mean, they say that the English muddle through, but those Italians make the English look like Prussians...

TBH, I admire your courage. You wouldn't see too many people admitting it the way you did 2years ago.
