I've heard a lot of arguments about gay marriage. Deneb's "argument from envy" has to be among the least convincing.

Dude, if you want the money you can get married right now, you have the choice. There are tax benefits calling out to you. Okay, you're limited to women, but that's still a lot of people. But you say "nah, I don't feel like it". Then you hear that two guys want to get married and you're against it.

"You shouldn't be able to because I don't want to."

Gods in India are legally treated as minors. So if you have a Hindu god's temple, they (and the estate of their temple) need to be technically represented by a guardian -- much as you would an 8-year-old child.
The way I see it, it's only because men want to have ownership of gods' money instead of god.

If gay marriage is allowed than so should polygamy

Seriously, though why the fuck should one care what a person does in their private life. Whether you be homosexual or heterosexual, it really shouldn't matter as long as you don't go around and disturb the people around you by your behavior. What I mean by that, is making in out in public (don't care what your sexual preferences are) or any other public display of affection (hugging\small pecks etc don't count, I mean intense make out, giving your partner oral sex in the bus kinda shit).

To each his own really, while respecting the people around...what's so hard 'bout that really?! The fuck should a President care about who sucking who's dick! Fucka outta here with that shit!

Well you've convinced me.
Good to know.

I am hoping that Raz is trolling
Of course I was not serious with extermination and all that a bit extreme I think :D

I think marriage as in church shouldn't be possible, unless the church itself lets them do this, and as a civil marriage, they should get the right for that, because today it seems everyone should be able to do whatever they want so according to that it would not be nice to forbid gay marriage.

I'm assuming you're a Slav, if we're getting rid of genetic waste.....
Not getting rid, but being forbidden to ridicule or say anything against it, is what bothers me. How they should be considered normal, and you have to treat them that way when for sure they aren't normal they are deviation from normal.

Any extreme is not good, and to what extremes we are trying to go with this tolaerancy isn't the best way too imo.

So you don't like things that are not normal, is that it? Being gay is not normal, because only about 10% of people are. But then winning the scudetto is not normal either, because only 1 in 20 clubs do that.

I'm left-handed, rarer than being gay :scared:

Oh wait that's right, being left-handed is only weird because we created a system where 'right' is normal and developed around it because it's convenient for the majority...

I'm not against not normal things, because most of them are even more cool then normal if we are talking in the broader sense. That's why scudetto is so cool.

What I don't like is that not normal are being labeled normal and you get punished if you call them for what they are. In fact now you are considered not normal if you're not tolerant enough to say gays are normal, wtf is that.

What normal means is simply the most common thing. So if the most common thing is to be tolerant of gays and you are not, then of course you are not normal. Simple.

Right is not "right". If you were born with three arms or 7 toes that would be not normal, your hands preference doesn't change anything.

In that case yes. The same as if you don't scream when you see justin beaber you are considered a freak by a big majority. I might as well be freak and go be a hermit if the choice is to abandon my thoughts and just prance around as a sheep.

Exactly.

Don't forget to post pictures of your cave in the pictures thread, though.

Hermits live in tree houses or in borrows. To live in a cave would be too unconformist idea among hermits for me.
