No. It doesn't. Being homosexual doesn't "cause" disease. That's a common misconception. Diseases(STDs) are spread through sexual contact, heterosexual or homosexual. In fact recent studies show that gays are less likely to get STDs than the heteros. That's mainly attributed to the gay community's openness in educating itself.
true, which is why i dont believe in sex before marriage too.

People of religion think homosexuality is a disease. Just another way religion divides the masses.

    I am indeed.

Its just against human nature. And again it causes diseases.
Wrong on both counts. Homosexuality does not cause disease. If you look at history many of the ancient world's greatest leaders practiced homosexuality on some level.

    Rab

Alen. I dont care if they think its curable or not for now. One step at a time. What I really is puzzled by someone like Juve Revolution who says he intensely hates them all (and would kill them all...). I mean, wtf? Not that the other doesnt make sense either (oooh its a diseaaaaaaase), but lets get by the fact he says he actually hates their guts just for that.

I mean if its coupled with their personality, little more okish, for example Henry Kissinger is prolly gay, and I dont care the reason people would hate him aslong as they hate that fucker ;) But I mean, if I read him right, he would hate ALL gays, despite if the person closest to the saint in this earth was gay.

That's much better than saying "homosexuals cause diseases". When you say that you imply that homosexuals are just giant petry dishes running around throwing germs on everyone. If you say that "homosexuals who practice unsafe sex spread disease" then that is a true statement. As anyone who practices unsafe sex has a large chance of getting an STD.

No man, i really wonder why do you think they can be cured.

I'm not being sarcastic nor am i going anywhere with this. I didn't read much literature about this "problem" and i never really cared, but my logic suggests that they were born homosexual just like i've been born heterosexual.
If i lived in different environment ( antique) i may have had sex with another male (because that was the way of life), but by nature i'd have been heterosexual and i'd get hard on women, not men.
The same goes for them. They get hard on men not because they chose that or they were taught that way, but simply because that's how they were born.

I may be wrong, of course. Like i said i never talked to an expert and i didn't read much about this. But this reasoning sounds logical to me.

I was asking you about how do you reason these things and why do you think it's curable.

I don't see why people care so much about how other people want to live their life.

Religion annoys me a lot more than homosexuality but, so long as people don't bother me with their belief's are, I couldn't care less about how they want to live their life.

The lifestyle is not wrong and completely illogical to human life but to your logic. When you use words like "human life" and "reason" you make it seem like it is an absolute. The thing is that its only you're opinion. You have to realize that.

You are extreme. You can change. People do all the time. You just have to want to. You obviously do not.

A quick word of advice. You may want to think twice about sharing such extreme opinions in an environment that is likely to be adverse to your ideals.
Then it wouldn't be much of an argument would it?

I agree, it is my opinion, but it is not only my opinion. Many people agree with me, maybe it's different in Western culture where you are more open to such matters. However, I come from a conservative region in the world and we still don't accept gay behaviour as normal as you do. To us, their behaviour is wrong. We still believe in "right" and "wrong" wheras, in America, anything seems acceptable. Nothing is right or wrong. You have been raised to accept all kinds of people, this is mainly because of racism issues America has faced in the past. It could explain why most Americans are very passionate towards accepting any kinds of people.

I come from a country where racism was never a problem. Therefore, we still judge people in a relatively insensitive way because we have never had a reason to radically rid of our prejudice mentality unlike America.

Ultimately, when I say I hate gays here in my country, I would receive nods of agreement. While in the states, it wouldn't be quite the same.

Actually it does. Both AIDS and Syphilis could be caused by gay sex.

In America we have different standards of "right" and "wrong". In America it is "right" to stick up for the little guy, to give everyone a chance and blah blah. However it is "wrong" to murder and "wrong" to beat your wife.

No. You're wrong. AIDs and Syphilis are diseases and can be spread by heterosexual sex. Magic Johnson has HIV and he is hetero, Al Capone died of Syphilis and he was hetero. The idea that gay sex "causes" diseases is completely wrong. Sex doesn't cause disease, it spreads its.

I guess this is wrong everywhere around the world.

Homophobe or anti-homophobe, lets avoid the cultural stereotypes as much as possible.
as well as making this about " America vs. the rest of the world". sadly how most topics here take an amazing turn to

and as a general rule of thumb for people on this forum:

don't compare America to where you are from or anywhere else unless you've lived here for more than 10 years. i don't care if you have visited numerous times, that just means you are a tourist, not a resident of the country. so by not living here automatically rules out any option to compare America with anything (specifically to social topics such as this)
