I am not familiar with the "reason" that suggests an alternative style of life is "wrong". Perhaps it is the same "reason" that states people have less worth because of their skin color, ethnic background, or religion. Perhaps you could enlighten me. The fact of the matter is that you come out and say "I hate gay people because they make me sick". That isn't the same as saying "I don't like gay people because they're lifestyle is something I don't agree with. That is an acceptable opinion that reflects some sort of thought. As for your last statement, it's not as easy as it sounds. A family member is my own flesh and blood, a little annoyance would not trouble me too much. When it comes to gay people, they mean nothing to me. They are just like anyone else, except they live a lifestyle which I am totally against, this would ultimately cause me to hate them for the rest of my life.

No. It doesn't. Being homosexual doesn't "cause" disease. That's a common misconception. Diseases(STDs) are spread through sexual contact, heterosexual or homosexual. In fact recent studies show that gays are less likely to get STDs than the heteros. That's mainly attributed to the gay community's openness in educating itself.
