If someone wants to deny homosexuals the same rights as other human beings, I would consider that homophobia, just like wanting to deny black people equal rights would be racism and women equal rights would be sexism.

A phobia is a fear but homophobia is broader than that... unless you know something that I can't seem to find on the internetz. Whether the word means what, the point is that they are a group of people who some want to deny human rights to.

And slavery and homophobia are comparable. Both are forms of discrimination and violations of human rights based on prejudice and ignorance.

No I didn't my comments say that all sources and persons in this debate have a bias so therefore without conclusive evidence there is no definitive answer. So it comes down to personal belief just like the God debate. No conclusive evidence 100% so it comes down to faith or belief. So in the end yelling or talking down to an opposing view does nothing to further the discussion
