I dont know if you guys (Salvo and JuveJay) have ever heard of him, but there was a Rugby League player called Ian Roberts who was openly gay, first and only RL player to come out.

This guy was built like a brick shithouse and could fight like a thrashing machine. Grew up in a rough and tumble neighbourhood as well.

Theres really no point to the story besides noting how much of a tough bastard and great player he was.
Yeah, same with Gareth Thomas (Welsh rugby union player). Least gay guy you could pick:

Here with his wife and 'teenage sweetheart'. I guess he was in a gay environment...

No it's because he has homosexual genes. And they waited 30 year to start effecting him
Latent homosexuality happens, he could have known personally for a very long time but either been afraid or been in denial. Some people do not realise that they are gay until they are much older.

After his marriage in 2002 to teenage sweetheart Jemma - the woman he called his 'rock' - he spoke movingly of their desire to become parents and the heartbreak of her suffering three miscarriages.

And if anyone dared to suggest he was anything other than 100 per cent straight, Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas was prepared to make them see the error of their ways. With his fists, if necessary.

But, as he admits in the Daily Mail today, it was all a pretence, a fragile artifice - and one which came crashing down around his ears on November 4, 2006, following a Wales game in Cardiff.

Breaking down in tears in the changing rooms of the Millennium Stadium, Gareth finally realised he could not go on living a lie. Keeping his true sexuality a secret was destroying him.

That secret, which he'd kept hidden his entire career, was - he admits now - 'like a tight knot in my stomach, always threatening to seep out'.
Also, a big supporter of the NSPCC, he doesn't want desperate young people confused over their sexuality, or worried about any other issue, to suffer in silence, as he did for almost 20 years, too terrified to tell anyone.

Or it could be that he failed his relationship with his wife, don't find plaisure in opposit sex intercourse, he's just curious or whatever reason. It could go both ways if there's no proof.

A failed relationship is not a reason to turn gay, when does that ever happen. If he is curious, he has underlying homosexuality.

Of course it could, but you were mocking the possibility as if it were not at all feasible.

Like i've bee mocked when i said it couldn't be genetic.
But you cannot possibly know that, unless you have performed and published research that we are not privy to ;) And people should not be saying that it definitely is genetic, either, just for some evenness of argument.

Rab posted several articles with quotes from scientist and reference like the american psychological association, and psychatric association showed that There is no evidence that shows that homosexuality is genetic--and none of the resaerch itself claims there is. Only the press and certain researchers do when speaking in sound bites to the public.

Should i believe a rugby player or science that says that it's not genetic at all.

As if straight couples are infallible. The amount of junkie, housing commision scum who procreate without a care in the world and fail to care for, or love their offspring in a humane fashion makes me sick.

Why shouldnt a loving couple, even if they are gay, not provide love and shelter to a child?

No one is perfect, being gay has its issues, being straight has its issues.

Gays cheat, straights cheat, gays ruin families, straights ruin families.

All a kid wants is love, if that can be provided by two dads or two mums why not? Who are you to say they cant.

Okay, who's the dumbass that posted all of that "scientific evidence" from back in 1994 and 1996?

Why don't you get something from less than 10 years old?

I could argue the Earth is the center of the universe if I was using evidence from far enough back.
Exactly, the latest scientific research shows more to suggest a gay gene.

Whats your take on it Burke?

Do you think gay people are born to want to put their Toulalan's in men's Panucci's? Or do they "choose" to.
